Reflection Through Galvanized Square Steel

You know, the galvanised steel, the eco friendly wood veneers, and our friend David? Could there be something dark lurking inside it? What I have concluded based on my side project of research, it that I think the existence of these videos could be a reflection on how the living conditions in China (where I assume the majority of these video's origin) is getting far worse.

Remember when the real estate bubble in China bursts? There is a major economic downturn, then people are losing money in properties, people then started to live in harsher and harsher conditions by the day, and young people there are scared for things to come such as job scarcity, comes to colleges and institutions to continue on their studies. Noble for sure, but it is just a mask for their actual issue, lacking a job.

Well, some factors that led to this economic downturn although abundant, some of the biggest contributors were real estate companies, then the EU, or even China being in control of the CCP. It's existence simply brings dread over a simple Chinese man living in China. Their disgust for the government lead them to go somewhere else, like Japan or the land of the free. And yes, you won't see many people being able to complain about it simply because of the government's secretion of power dripping into the people's mouth (vulgar language possibilities lmao)

By using companies like Huawei (state-sponsored, btw) the CCP leverages several surveillance measures among the people, asides from the major amount of "AI" face tracking in every corner of the road, and sites like Weibo (basically Chinese twitter) and Douyin (chinese ver. of tiktok) actively censored to meet the favours and standards of information accessibility by the CCP.

Oh, about the products you (and me, I am a hypocrite in this situation, since cost-saving measures were my everything back then.) buy from Chinese manufacturers, are you really sure that their products are made with just workers, and not workers paid as low as the delivery workers there? Speaking of delivery workers there, it has reached saturation and saturation so bad, one people might even be lucky to get one order by the end of the day, and fees constantly getting lower with some only getting 2.000 rupiah per order!

Now, we are facing back the truths that lies in China. As you can see from above, people are facing an economic downturn, then people started doing odd jobs like delivery drivers and live streamers, then "lying down", then no money, and the ten no's for young people, and also coupled by living conditions in major cities in China such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, or Beijing, videos like this serves as inspiration for room renovations sometimes or often with measurements that barely makes sense in another country, like here in Indonesia.

For example, would you dare live in a 3.14m² circle house in Dubai? Like David my Top G here, he had managed to renovate this house to a livable state, indicating the hoops many people living in extremely confined spaces tend to go through to just have a roof above their head, and that's not even considering their food! Of course, who of any of us here want to live in such cramped conditions?

Now that I am ending this rant thingy, I must ask you something.

Would you, live in such cramped conditions?
