[OC Story] Parker's Anecdotes: Pantai Pasir Padi

Yekaterina planned out the trip for us together to the beach, but I overslept and we were a little late for the sunset there. I felt sorry for her, but she doesn't seem bothered, let alone scolding me for it. Well, we're here now, while the winds are strong and people are strolling around. Some were drinking coconut water and playing football with their friends.

Last time I was here, there was a group of people with loud motorbikes passing along the dried sand from the low tides starting when the sun was tree height. They don't seem to be here, and a little silence is appreciated. She had brought food the day before, but we didn't get to eat there because she was so busy walking around to the far side where a small island can be

seen.

"Parker!!! What are you doing there standing around!!!?" She shouted at me, who's standing right on the curb next to our car. She's on that island I talked about earlier.

"I'll wait here, okay!!" I shouted back. Honestly, I just didn't want my sandals dirty from the sand, knowing I could've cleaned it right after we've done our activities here. Aside from running around, Yekaterina's also been focusing on expanding her seashell collection, since her hometown doesn't really have beaches and stuff..

She's always been like this ever since we met at the school, but I didn't know it was way more than that.

---

It's getting late and she's still sitting there. While the sun disappeared, the water that was far away from us now got to our feet. I'm standing beside her, but she wasn't looking at me either. Then, the wind blew my hair away and exposed my earrings...

I tried to be calm about it. but she saw them and wanted to get one for herself.

"I didn't even know that she didn't have one on her ear! Does she have one already and I didn't know?? Haah... It's from somewhere in my hometown and no other dealer has it..."
