About A Day in Parker's Life: Prologue Chapter
During the which I’m not the busy student I was two months ago, I started re-developing a keen interest in yuri, a genre of content or media that involves two women in a relationship. Some internet terms for this are wuh-luh-wuh (WLW) or women-love-women, girls’ love or GL, or many other terms you can probably find on AO3.
For me, it was one of the main reasons the A Day in Parker’s Life series was born. Originally, I found straight relationships sweet, and I still do! But, seeing the normalized impossibility of a relationship involving a pair of women, in love, struck something in me: I want to make some of this as well—so I did!
Generalia
This series is the embodiment of the Subsystem’s continued efforts to create what I would describe as “the perfect” or what kids say “peak” yuri content. Why did I decide on making this project specifically is to show a hypothetical scenario where I make my characters love each other, whilst also evading my responsibility as an artist to not spend any time drawing men due to my incapability of doing so. This also serves as my life’s work, and an embodiment of what love means to me, as a human being, one which has never actually fall in love with anyone. That makes this series a little biased, but I can’t help it! I want to make stories, and this is exactly what this series is.
The Prologue
This specific document refers to the Prologue chapter in the A Day in Parker’s Life series. The chapter aims to introduce the audience to the main casts of the story, and to establish the couples’ relationship over the next 4 days. Over those days, they grew on each other, learned their habits, hung out together, and become what a typical girl groups be. But someone wants to take that to a new level—Katya, or Yekaterina Kovaleva feels indebted to Parker Strambrought, that the only way she could repay her was through love. However, she couldn’t express her feelings pretty well, and Parker is blissfully unaware of how people felt about her...
How would their relationship go? Will Katya be able to fulfill her brand-new wish of being Parker’s girlfriend, or will someone else take it away? Find out in the next episode of Dragon Ball Z!!!
